Mary Jo is a corporate director and strategic advisor, public speaker and broadcast commentator who draws on a rare blend of experience in the energy, financial services and public sectors in the United States and United Kingdom.
In addition to working with clients on international affairs, strategy and brand and reputation management, Mary Jo is a non-executive director of The Weir Group plc, Mulvaney Capital Management and PANAFSAT Inc. and she serves on the advisory board of Fink Africa. She is a Visiting Fellow of the University of Oxford’s Centre for Corporate Reputation and a member of the International Advisory Board of Leeds University Business School and the Visiting Committee of Loyola University’s School of Business in New Orleans.
Mary Jo has been a C-suite executive with some of the world’s largest companies, including Royal Dutch Shell, BP America, Lehman Brothers, HSBC Holdings, and Drexel Burnham Lambert. She has served on the boards of directors of Tate & Lyle plc, the IDM Group, Drexel Burnham Lambert, the Ladies European (Golf) Tour, and the Ladies Professional Golf Association, which she chaired for five years.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron appointed Mary Jo to the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments, prior to which she served as one of Her Majesty’s Civil Service Commissioners. She is a also member of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Wilton Park Advisory Council and has served several terms as a US-UK Fulbright Commissioner.
Mary Jo holds an MBA in International Business from the George Washington University and a BBA from Loyola University New Orleans. She currently resides in suburban Washington DC.
